Rinda Alexander, PhD
Rinda Alexander has more than 36 years of experience as a teacher, researcher and administrator in the areas of nursing, epidemiology and health care. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education and Administration from the University of Texas, Austin, and has been a faculty member in the School of Advanced Studies since 2007.
For more than 20 years, Rinda has been a private consultant in the national and international arenas, focusing on research in health care, evidence-based practice, the development and expansion of professional nursing programs, and the measurement and evaluation of standards and outcomes in health care organizations.
Her areas of expertise include grantsmanship, funded research and leadership in nursing education and health care administration.
Rinda is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
