Rinda Alexander, PhD
Rinda Alexander has over 36 years of experience as a teacher, researcher and administrator in the areas of nursing, epidemiology and health care. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education and Administration from the University of Texas, Austin and has been a faculty member in the School of Advanced Studies since 2007.
For over 20 years, Rinda has been a private consultant in the national and international arenas, focusing on research in health care, evidence-based practice, the development and expansion of professional nursing programs and the measurement and evaluation of standards and outcomes in health care organizations.
Her areas of expertise include graduate-level nursing education, grantsmanship and funded research and leadership in nursing education and health care administration.
Rinda is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
