Ronald Black, EdD
Ronald Black teaches doctoral courses in the School of Advanced Studies. He has spent more than 30 years in the education field. He has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Master of Education from Rhode Island College and a Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University.
In addition to teaching at University of Phoenix, Ron also provides support to faculty and students on the dissertation process. He monitors and supports the SAS Dissertation-Mentors Support forum and the RESEARCH faculty forum. He also facilitates courses in the Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration program, doctoral residency courses, doctoral leadership courses and all doctoral research courses.
Ron has served as a faculty member and vice president at five institutions of higher learning. He has also conducted considerable research studies in educational leadership, technology and distance learning. He has contributed articles on educational technology and strategic business alliances and hosted speaking engagements at national and international conferences including Oxford University and the United Nations.
