Susanne Danis, MSN

Susanne Danis has been a nurse practitioner, educator and author for more than 25 years and teaches several biological science, nursing and health and wellness courses at the University of Phoenix South Florida Campus. She holds a master's degree in nursing from Florida International University and holds several training and education certifications.

In addition to teaching, Susanne is the director of online content for one of the nation's largest providers of hospital-based clinical outsourcing. She also maintains a Florida-based private adult primary care practice and is the founder of a consulting company. She provides editing, public speaking, medical-legal review and consultation services to individuals, health care facilities, organizations and pharmaceutical companies.

Susanne is also the co-founder and primary author/editor for a nursing continuing education website and has been published in nursing literature more than 500 times. She has lectured nationally and internationally over 100 times and is a peer reviewer for several nursing magazines.

Susanne is a certified provider of continuing nursing education and Alzheimer's training for the Florida Board of Nursing and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and a nationally-certified diabetes educator. She has been teaching with University of Phoenix since 2000.
