Bachelor's Individual Courses

At the bachelor’s level, individual courses are divided into lower division or upper division depending on the depth of material covered. Lower-division courses (numbered 100-299) provide foundational knowledge on a topic while upper-division courses (300-499) delve deeper into a more targeted section of a subject.

The faster pace of our bachelor’s courses—typically five weeks—allows you to cover the material quickly and requires more independence than our associate’s-level courses. Learning Team assignments encourage you to collaborate with peers and to you apply what you’ve learned to real-world scenarios.

You can choose to attend online or at a campus or learning center near you.

Transferability of credit is at the discretion of the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether or not credits earned at University of Phoenix will be accepted by another institution of the student’s choice. While widely available, not all courses are available to residents of all states or in both online or on campus locations. Please check with a University Enrollment Advisor.
