Faculty and Educational Value
Who You Learn From Is Just as Important as What You Learn
More than 30 years ago we gave higher education a facelift. We made the choice to move away from only offering day classes, so that you aren’t locked out of an education just because you’re earning a living.
And because people typically learn by doing, we decided you should learn from instructors who have more than just book smarts. All of our instructors have years of experience working in their respective fields and have earned either a master’s or a doctoral degree. That way, you get the best of both worlds—the knowledge they learned in school and the knowledge they’ve gained by doing the work out in the real world.
We also regularly update our curriculum with help from industry professionals so you’re learning the latest trends.
Education With a Personal Touch
It’s true we’re the largest accredited private university in North America. But despite our size, we work hard to give you a sense of community and the support you need to be academically successful.
Our class-sizes are small, averaging 15 students, so that you won't get lost in the crowd of a large lecture hall. You'll get the one-on-one attention you need to learn the material.
If you’re a bachelor’s or master’s degree student, in addition to your own assignments, you’ll work in a small learning team in each class. You’ll collaborate on projects so that you’re prepared for the group work and communication challenges you’ll face in the real world.
Earn a degree at University of Phoenix and you’ll gain valuable lessons from our knowledge and professional insights, as well as our personal approach. Get started today.
