April is Financial Literacy Month!
Week 1: Introduction
April is National Financial Literacy Month. You might ask, “What does this have to do with me?”
As a college student, you make choices each day about how to spend and save your money. You make decisions about student loans, credit cards and other kinds of debt. Taking steps to increase your financial literacy can help guide you in those important choices.
Your financial strength is important to University of Phoenix. We will provide weekly tips on valuable topics throughout the month of April.
We understand that financial decisions can be overwhelming at times. There is a lot to know and consider, and you’re busy. After consulting with your advisor and checking other University resources, including the Financial Options Guide, you can access additional information through iGrad, a third-party informational website designed to enhance financial awareness.
You can read short articles, watch entertaining and informative videos, and explore many other tools. Among them, you’ll find budgeting calculators and recommended strategies to help you manage your finances. Access the website through eCampus under the Account section.
Life Resource Center
We would like to highlight the benefits of our Life Resource Center because at times, it takes a lot more than just going to class to be a successful student. The Life Resource Center provides information, resources and one-on-one support to address many areas of your life — explore the center. It’s here for you. Access the Life Resource Center through eCampus under the Program section.
