Finish Strong Selection Process


If you meet the eligibility criteria, please complete the scholarship application.

OPTION 1: APPLY ONLINE (preferable)

  1. First, create a new account. Then log in and begin application
    (If you have already created a Scholarship Manager account, log in and begin.)

  2. Complete the University of Phoenix Finish Strong scholarship application online by selecting “start application”

  3. Save and continue to summary page

  4. Review your application before you submit
    • Correction Needed: click the “back” button to navigate through the application and make the necessary change
    • No Correction Needed: scroll to the bottom of the summary page and click “Submit Application”

      *After submitting the application, you will not be able to modify any of your responses.*
  5. Print a copy of the application for your records

  6. Online application submitted
    • Congratulations, you have completed scholarship application.

OPTION 2: PAPER APPLICATION

If you are under 21 years of age or do not wish to provide your information electronically you must submitted your application via mail.

  1. Print a copy of the Finish Strong application.

  2. Complete the paper application and sign all documents.

  3. Your application and signed forms must be submitted via the mailing address on the application under submission instructions and must be received on or before the deadline date.

IMPORTANT DATES

Application Period: October 12, 2009 – January 02, 2010

Deadline Date:
A complete application and supporting documentation must be received on or before January 2, 2010. Applications received after the designated deadline date will not be considered. No exceptions.

Award Date:
The Scholarship Committee will determine the recipients of the scholarship by the award date of February 7, 2010. You will receive a notification email regardless if you were selected as a recipient or not. If you are selected as a scholarship recipient the email notification will include information regarding the announcement of the scholarship award for marketing purposes, including any announcements that will be made on national television and/or radio.

Note: Please be advised that it is the applicant’s responsibility to submit a completed online or paper application, which must be received on or before the deadline date as set forth above. The Scholarship Committee accepts no responsibility for incomplete applications, applications not in proper form, lost applications, or any other submission. No exceptions.
