Jessica Martinez

Jessica, a recent University of Phoenix business management graduate, has always been a hard worker and dedicated. She wants the best for her family and is at all times available to give advice or offer a shoulder to lean on. Currently enrolled in the MBA program, Jessica knows that obtaining her degree helped her develop the skills that employers look for. Jessica was the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree, and is continuing to set an example for her three younger siblings. Jessica nominated her sister, Linda, for the Paying it ForwardSM Scholarship.
Linda Martinez
Recipient - Phoenix, Arizona
Linda has been a hard worker her entire life. During the day, she works at a grocery store as a meat-cutter. At night, she attends a community college part-time. Recently Linda has found that it is extremely difficult to maintain a full-time job while attending college and has begun looking at other options. Fortunately, her sister Jessica, a recent University of Phoenix graduate and current MBA student, nominated her for the Paying it ForwardSM Scholarship, helping to bring Linda one step closer to achieving her dream to become a nurse.
