Paying it Forward - 2008 Profiles
Christina (Chris) Cianciolo
Alumna - Fremont, California
Christina (Chris) Cianciolo was given the opportunity to complete her bachelor’s degree at University of Phoenix through an education subsidy program offered by her company. The University of Phoenix program was an excellent fit for her because she was able to complete the program with other working professionals like herself. During her coursework at University of Phoenix, Chris learned to appreciate the value of online learning, which is a skill that she practices regularly in her current job. Since graduating, she has excelled in her career and received many performance awards. For Chris, Paying It Forward is a philosophy she practices whenever she can, so it made perfect sense to nominate her nephew for the scholarship program. Thanks to this opportunity, Joseph Dziedzic IV will become the first person in his family to earn a bachelor’s degree.
