When Tonya decided to attend school for a bachelor’s and then master’s degree, her husband supported her every step of the way. Brian’s selflessness inspired his wife, Tonya, to nominate him for the Paying it Forward® Scholarship. Finally, Brian would have the chance to achieve personal goals as he had helped so many others to do. Tonya is a proud Phoenix who believes firmly in the power of knowledge and always intends to share the lessons she has learned with family, friends, co-workers and others in her community.

Years ago, Brian began his undergraduate education. Since then, his goal of completing his education took a backseat to supporting his children, loved ones and those around him. With the Paying it Forward Scholarship, Brian can now return to a dream never forgotten. He hopes to one day become the United States Postmaster General. Earning his bachelor’s degree in Business/Management will take him one step closer to the future he envisions for himself and his family.
