The Milestone Scholar Award

At the University of Phoenix® College of Education, we’re committed to delivering a career-relevant curriculum that will prepare you for leadership in today’s learning environments. To help you get there, we’re pleased to introduce the Milestone Scholar Award for incoming students pursuing a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd).

Through this scholarship program, you can earn up to $2,500 in tuition reductions as you progress toward your MAEd.

For our Milestone Scholarship Award, you control your educational destiny. The Milestone Scholar Award Scholarship (“Scholarship”) is available to all degree-seeking students enrolling into the MAED/TED-E, MAED/TED-S or MAED/SPE degree program between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2017 (“Offer Window”) who meet the Scholarship Eligibility Requirements described herein.

Here’s how it works:

The University will provide a tuition reduction on the cost of eligible courses according to the chart below.

Total program credits earned and applied toward degree completion

Percentage Reduction

  • Courses eligible for the Scholarship benefits are those credit-bearing courses for which, on the first day of class, the student is in compliance with all applicable Scholarship
  • The maximum award amount is $2,500 provided the student meets and maintains Scholarship eligibility throughout their degree program. The maximum amount is based on a student entering a 32-46 credit degree program with zero transfer credits. • You’ll sign a “Memorandum of Understanding” agreeing to the terms and conditions of this scholarship before the end of the Offer Window.
  • Scholarship eligibility requirements include being a MAED/TED-E, MAED/TED-S or MAED/SPE degree seeking student in a program of study requiring a minimum of 32 credits who posts attendance and is invoiced for his or her first credit-bearing course with a course start date between September 1, 2015 and August 31, 2017 (Qualifying Attendance); or
