# Alumni Reddit Giveaway Terms & Conditions June 16, 2026 • 5 minutes ## Terms & conditions **UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX ALUMNI REDDIT GIVEAWAY - OFFICIAL RULES** **NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW**.  ## 1. Sponsor  The sponsor of the University of Phoenix Alumni Reddit Giveaway ("Sweepstakes") is University of Phoenix, Inc., 4035 S. Riverpoint Parkway, Phoenix, Arizona 85040 ("Sponsor").  ## 2. Agreement to Official Rules  By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  ## 3. Sweepstakes Period  The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, Arizona time, on July 20, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Arizona time, on August 3, 2026 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.  ## 4. Eligibility  The Sweepstakes is open to University of Phoenix, Inc. commencement-eligible students and degree holders (“Alumni”), as determined by Sponsor's records, who are legal residents of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, and who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.    Eligibility may be verified by Sponsor before a prize is awarded. Entrants should not publicly disclose student identification numbers, academic records, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal information in connection with the Sweepstakes.    Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, and any other companies involved in the implementation, administration, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, and each of their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to enter or win.    For purposes of these Official Rules, "immediate family members" means spouses, domestic partners, parents, legal guardians, children, siblings, and each of their respective spouses or domestic partners, regardless of where they reside. "Household members" means persons who share the same residence, whether or not related.  ## 5. How to Enter  The Sweepstakes may be promoted or announced via email and social media, but those channels are not an entry method for the Sweepstakes. Voting, commenting on, sharing, saving, following, tagging, messaging, or otherwise interacting with any Reddit post, profile, or advertisement will not constitute an entry and will not increase an entrant's chances of winning.    During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible individuals may enter by following the instructions in Sponsor's official Reddit Sweepstakes post and submitting a response to the Sweepstakes prompt on Reddit. Unless otherwise stated in the official Reddit Sweepstakes post, entrants must create a post (40-50 words) on Sponsor's official subreddit and share: Brief introduction, University of Phoenix program (if they are comfortable sharing), and the value of their educational journey.    Entrants are not required to make any positive statement about Sponsor, University of Phoenix, or Sponsor's programs. The content, tone, or viewpoint of an eligible entry will not affect the entrant's odds of winning. Winners will be selected by random drawing.    To enter without using Reddit or posting public content, eligible individuals may email UOPXSocial@phoenix.edu during the Sweepstakes Period with the subject line "Reddit Giveaway Entry" and include their full name, state of residence, email address, and a brief response to the Sweepstakes prompt. Email entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, Arizona time, on August 924, 2026. Email entries will be treated equally with Reddit entries for purposes of winner selection.    Limit one entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entrants may not share the same Reddit account. Use of multiple Reddit accounts, automated tools, bots, scripts, macros, or any other method to obtain more than one entry is prohibited and may result in disqualification.    Reddit entrants must have a Reddit account in good standing and must be able to receive direct messages through Reddit for winner notification. Entrants using Reddit must comply with the Reddit User Agreement, Reddit Rules, applicable subreddit or community rules, and all other applicable Reddit policies.    Entries must be original to the entrant; must not infringe or violate the rights of any third party; must not contain obscene, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content; and must not violate any Reddit rules or applicable community rules. Entries should not include student identification numbers, financial information, health information, information about minors, confidential information, or other sensitive personal information.    Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that, in Sponsor's sole discretion, violates these Official Rules or is otherwise inconsistent with the intended operation of the Sweepstakes.  ## 6. Rights in Entry Content  Entrants retain ownership of their entry content. By entering, each entrant grants Sponsor and its designees a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, publish, and distribute the entry, in whole or in part, for purposes of administering, operating, and publicizing the Sweepstakes, including winner selection, winner notification, prize fulfillment, winner-list publication, and related Sweepstakes announcements, subject to applicable law and Sponsor's privacy policies.    Sponsor may request, but will not require as a condition of prize award, a separate publicity, testimonial, or content release before using a winner's entry in broader marketing materials.  ## 7. Prizes  Up to one hundred (100) “I am a Phoenix” University of Phoenix T-Shirts will be awarded. Each individual prize consists of a variety bundle of University of Phoenix branded items, which may include items such as T-shirts, mugs, pens, or similar itemsone T-Shirt. Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each prize: $15.10. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,510.    The exact items, sizes, colors, styles, and contents of each prize bundle will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. A prize may not be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash by a winner. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize or portion of a prize with one of comparable or greater value.    All federal, state, and local taxes, and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not expressly stated in these Official Rules, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes will be shipped only to mailing addresses in the fifty United States or the District of Columbia.    Limit one prize per person.  ## 8. Odds of Winning  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.  ## 9. Winner Selection  On or about August 28, 2026, Sponsor will select one hundred potential winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted using a randomizer tool. Sponsor's decisions are final, binding, and conclusive in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.  ## 10. Winner Notification and Prize Claiming  Potential winners who entered via Reddit will be notified by Reddit direct message. Potential winners who entered by email may be notified by email. Potential winners may be required to provide their full name, mailing address, email address, and any other information reasonably required by Sponsor to verify eligibility and fulfill the prize.    Potential winners must respond within five (5) calendar days after Sponsor sends the initial winner notification. If a potential winner does not respond within that time period, fails to provide requested information, is found to be ineligible, fails to comply with these Official Rules, declines the prize, cannot be contacted, or if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize.    In the event of a disqualification or forfeiture, Sponsor may randomly select an alternate potential winner from among all remaining eligible entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure of a potential winner to receive a notification due to Reddit account settings, message filtering, account suspension, technical issues, email filtering, spam settings, incorrect contact information, or any other reason.    No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.  ## 11. Release  By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Sponsor's parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, Reddit, Inc., advertising and promotion agencies, prize suppliers, and all other companies involved in the implementation, administration, advertising, promotion, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, any Sweepstakes-related advertising or promotion, or the acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, claims involving personal injury, death, damage to or loss of property, taxes, publicity rights, defamation, privacy, or intellectual property.    Without limiting the foregoing, each entrant specifically agrees to release Reddit, Inc., from any and all liability arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes, including any Sweepstakes-related promotional announcement or advertising on Instagram Reddit in the following communication channels: SMS text, landing page and email.  ## 12. Platform Disclaimers  This Sweepstakes is not sponsored by, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Reddit, Inc. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Sponsor, and not to Reddit.    Sponsor is solely responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and all related communications. Reddit will not assist Sponsor or entrants with the administration of the Sweepstakes, winner selection, prize fulfillment, or any Sweepstakes-related disputes.  ## 13. Publicity  Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent for Sponsor and its designees to use winner's name, Reddit username, city and state of residence, prize information, and entry for purposes of administering, operating, and publicizing the Sweepstakes, including winner lists and related Sweepstakes announcements, without further payment or consideration.    Sponsor may request, but will not require as a condition of prize award, a separate publicity, testimonial, or content release for broader marketing use.  ## 14. Privacy  Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, communicate with entrants, award and fulfill prizes, maintain legally required records, and as otherwise described in [Sponsor's privacy policy](https://www.phoenix.edu/copyright-legal/privacy-policy.html).    By entering through Reddit, entrants acknowledge that any information posted publicly on Reddit may be visible to other Reddit users and the public, subject to Reddit's own terms, policies, and privacy practices. Entrants should not post sensitive personal information, student identification numbers, financial information, health information, information about minors, or confidential information in any public Reddit entry.  ## 15. General Conditions  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Sweepstakes or any part of it if fraud, technical failures, human error, Reddit platform issues, email platform issues, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity, security, fairness, or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the prizes by random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received before the cancellation, suspension, or modification.    Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual Sponsor finds to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes; acting in violation of these Official Rules, Reddit rules, or any applicable community rules; using multiple Reddit accounts or automated entry methods; acting in an unsportsmanlike, disruptive, abusive, or fraudulent manner; or attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes.    Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law.  Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.  ## 16. Limitations of Liability  The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, misdirected, delayed, corrupted, or undeliverable entries, messages, emails, or prize claims; (b) technical, hardware, software, network, Internet, website, Reddit, email, or other platform malfunctions or failures; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (e) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize; or (f) any typographical, printing, or other error in Sweepstakes materials.    If, for any reason, more than the stated number of prize claims are received or more than the stated number of prizes become available or are claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by random drawing from among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.  ## 17. Disputes  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of an entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law rules that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Arizona.  ## 18. Sweepstakes Results and Official Rules  For Sweepstakes winner results and/or a copy of these Official Rules, email UOPXSocial@phoenix.edu with the subject line "Reddit Giveaway." Requests for a winner list must be received by September 16, 2026.
