Re-Entry Near Graduation Terms and Conditions

Eligible students re-entering the University of Phoenix between May 1st, 2022 and August 31, 2022, who are within 24 credits of graduating andpursuing the completion of a bachelor’s degree will receive a tuition rate of $320 per credit hour for classes started prior to April 30, 2023. 

Here’s how the program works (eligibility):

You are eligible for this Near Graduation Program if (i) you are not currently scheduled to start a class; (ii) have been out of attendance for at least 60 days but not more than 365 days; (iii) you either return to your bachelor’s degree program or enroll in a new degree program, online or at one of our active markets, provided you  have 24 credits or fewer remaining; (iv) start a class and post attendance between May 1st, 2022, and August 31st, 2022;  and (v) must be in good financial standing with the University. Upon meeting these eligibility criteria, you will receive a tuition rate of $320 per credit on your remaining courses taken between May 1st, 2022, and April 30th, 2023. If you meet the eligibility requirements, no action is required by you to receive this offer.

If you don’t meet the above criteria, then we would still love to see you return to the University to earn a degree, but you aren’t eligible for this Near Graduation Program.

Please note the following regarding the Near Graduation Program:

  1. Student is pursuing the completion of a bachelor’s degree program.
  2. Students must re-enter by starting class and post attendance between 5/1/2022 and 8/1/2022.
  3. Student must have no academic related activity (ARA) within 60-365 days prior to the re-entry date, no future schedule, and must not be on a Leave of Absence
  4. Students must have less than 24 credits remaining in their program.  If the student changes the original program or program version, they must still have less than 24 credits remaining in their program.
  5. Student must be in good financial standing with the University.
  6. The Near Graduation Program is not applicable and will not be issued to:
  • UOPX Employees, Faculty, Spouses, and dependents
  • UOPX New students
  • Current UOPX students 
  • Students with an admissions status of “Admitted with Condition”
  • Students enrolled in and re-entering into single courses or stand-alone certificates that do not roll up to an eligible degree program
  • Students applying to Competency Based Education Programs
  • Students pursuing an associates, masters, or doctoral degree
  • Students receiving any employer benefits or discounts (including but not limited to TAPCAP tuition benefits)
  • Students receiving Military Tuition rate
  • Students receiving UOPX Scholarships
  • Students on a Leave of Absence
  • Students on any other discounts, offers or promotions not included above
  • Offer cannot be combined with any other offers or tuition reductions; this includes UOPX employee tuition benefits. Student will receive whichever tuition price is lower.

7.       The Near Graduation Program will automatically terminate if:

  • The student fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements set forth above.
  • The student becomes degree complete in the eligible degree program.
  • The student is Academically Disqualified, Disqualified for Admission, Scholastically Disqualified, Scholastically Suspended or Expelled as outlined in the University Academic Catalog.
