The human resource function plays a major role in building human capital, operating as a business partner for various departments within the company. Human resource professionals are expected to plan, organize, direct, and control strategic and operational activities related to human capital. This course will explore the role of the human resource department in collaborating with both internal and external partners to aid the organization in achieving strategic goals. It will focus on assessing risks, defining goals, assessing organization structure, and ensuring federal regulations and laws are followed.
