Every organization has a supply chain that is used to design, make, and deliver products and services for their customers. The supply chain is a network of both internal and external operations that are synced to coordinate production, inventory, transportation and information the products and services of the organization in a fashion that aligns with the business strategy. In this course, students will learn how the various elements of the supply chain interact in the manufacturing and service sectors. In addition, the course will cover key characteristics of supply chain processes and the importance of efficiency as it relates to customer satisfaction and achievement of business strategy. This course provides 0.4 continuing education units in one, 4-hour workshop.
