"This course explores student assessment methods utilized in learning organizations. The merits and faults of these methods are debated. Among the key topics is outcomes-based assessment – such as standardized achievement and criterion assessment, as well as the influence of leadership styles on these outcomes. Competency A: Apply the fundamental concepts and terminology associated with assessment and measurement. Competency B: Analyze the purpose and appropriateness of assessment measures to learning outcomes. Competency C: Evaluate research-driven assessment measures to improve learning outcomes. Competency D: Assess the reliability and validity of various assessments. Competency E: Analyze assessment results to make decisions for improving learner performance. Competency F: Communicate assessment results to various stakeholders. Competency G: Examine issues in assessment and accountability for learning organizations."
