Dnp Practice Immersion Residency I
Course level: Graduate
This course will lay the foundation of the DNP Practice Dissertation. Students will evaluate the evidence-based practice (EBP) literature for support of their topic and create a plan for their DNP Practice Dissertation. In addition, students will create a community of scholars in practice focused research. Competency A: Examine requirements and ethical issues in conducting research with human subjects. Competency B: Evaluate the criteria and process of selecting evidence as it relates to a proposed topic. Competency C: Formulate a PICOT question related to a phenomena of interest. Competency D: Evaluate change, quality improvement, and innovation projects within the DNP role. Competency E: Develop a career trajectory to facilitate the creation of a community of scholars.
