This course introduces participants to the elements of online teaching at the K-12 level. Participants examine a variety of online instructional skills and strategies related to teaching and delivering curriculum in the online environment. Participants collaborate with others and authentically integrate technology tools, as well as mobile learning technologies. Classroom management, engagement, time management, and assessment strategies are also discussed. Additionally, participants explore the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) standards, as well as copyright, FERPA, and other issues related to academic integrity in the online classroom. Each participant must have computer and Internet access for this course.
