"This course introduces the tourism industry and its major components as well as a focus in hospitality supervisory skills. It covers current issues in tourism and their effects on the hospitality industry as a whole, including economic, political, and cultural forces, and quality of life effects on host locals. Career opportunities within travel and tourism are also discussed."
