Partnership & Industry Information Systems
Course level: Graduate
This course extends the learning from previous intracompany relationships to external IS organizational relationships. Upon completion of this course, the learner will be prepared to define, evaluate, and plan the application of IST domains that must be considered when developing partnerships and common industry relationships. Competency A: Analyze the IT characteristics of private sector business partnerships and private sector-public sector partnerships. Competency B: Determine appropriate performance measures for IT-business partnerships. Competency C: Synthesize approaches, methods, and tools used throughout the IT lifecycle and business partnerships. Competency D: Apply a systems approach to evaluate IST requirements for developing external relationships. Competency E: Evaluate strategic alliances between organizations.
