Completion of this research-based course will empower learners to explore, analyze, and critically evaluate historical and current management philosophies and theories. The course focus is on understanding, designing, and executing sustainable management strategies that meet the demands of domestic and global competition. Competency A: Analyze the historical evolution of management philosophy and theory through paradigm shifts in strategy, organization, and evolving competition. Competency B: Evaluate diverse perspectives in management philosophies and theories over time. Competency C: Assess the influences of current strategic and competitive factors on the future of management philosophy. Competency D: Integrate management philosophy and theory with organizational leadership and practice.
