"This course introduces the School of Nursing's philosophical framework for professional practice and the baccalaureate role of the nurse as practitioner, leader, and educator. Topics include critical thinking, clinical judgment, collaboration and communication skills, evidence-based practice, and professional values and responsibilities. A key focus is introducing students to professional nursing and behaviors necessary for professional accountability."
