Participants learn test-taking strategies, stress reduction, and information required for the following domains of the TExES™ Generalist 4-8 exam: Domain I: English Language Arts and Reading Domain II: Mathematics Domain III: Social Studies Domain IV: Science Participants take practice tests, review test questions, analyze correct and incorrect answers, and create plans to further prepare for the exam.

    Sample Test Analysis; Test-Taking Strategies; TExES™ Generalist 4-8 Exam Domains I & II

    • Identify skills, concepts, and vocabulary associated with Domains I & II.
    • Identify the competencies and skills required to successfully take the TExES™ Generalist 4–8 Exam.
    • Calculate the sample test results in each content area.
    • Determine personal strengths and weaknesses in Domain I: English Language Arts and Reading based on sample test results.
    • Determine personal strengths and weaknesses in Domain II: Mathematics based on sample test results.

    Topic 1: TExES™ Generalist 4–8 Exam Domains III & IV

    • Determine personal strengths and weaknesses in Domain III: Social Studies based on sample test results.
    • Determine personal strengths and weaknesses in Domain IV: Science based on sample test results.
    • Identify skills, concepts, and vocabulary associated with Domains III & IV.
    • Create an effective study plan based on analysis of sample test results.
