Course level: Undergraduate

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for routing and switching management. Topics include extending Local Area Network (LAN) into a Wide Area Network (WAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions, and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) connectivity. Students learn network devices, cloud computing, and software defined networking.

  • Describe WAN connections to the public cloud.
  • Explain SDN concepts.
  • Describe troubleshooting using the Cisco® Application Centric Infrastructure Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) Path Trace Application.
