The BLS* projects a 7% growth for marketing managers between 2019 and 2029. A bachelor’s degree is required for most marketing management positions. And these managers typically have work experience in advertising, marketing, promotions, or sales.

While completion of a college course or professional development course might help fill a skills gap, it may not lead to employment in this role.

If you choose to take a noncredit professional development course, you will get a certificate of completion once you have completed all assessments with a score of 85% or better. You can share this certificate on your resumé and LinkedIn® profile.
