Located in Lenexa, Kansas, the University of Phoenix Lenexa Learning Center offers students the opportunity to complete college courses through our Online Campus or at a local campus. At this University of Phoenix location in Kansas, students can pursue degrees in fields such as business and management, education, nursing, criminal justice and technology. The convenience of online classes gives working students the flexibility to attend their college courses at times and places they choose.
Whether you are interested in earning a bachelor's degree in business or an MBA, you will have the option of completing your college courses on campus via the Lenexa Learning Center or through our Online Campus. As a campus-based student, you attend class once a week, generally in the evening. You also meet weekly with your learning team, a small group of classmates who work together to complete assignments and coursework. If you're an online student, log on and participate with your class three to five days each week depending upon your degree program. Additionally, you'll complete your coursework through electronic forums that enable you to discuss course subjects, download course materials, drop off completed assignments and access materials and notes provided specifically for you by your instructor.
Whether you learn online or at the Lenexa Learning Center, you'll take one course at a time, with courses lasting five or six weeks. These courses are taught by faculty members dedicated to providing a relevant, rigorous education. In fact, they have advanced degrees and substantial experience in the fields they teach. So you can gain knowledge in your field of study, as well as practical insight.
