The University of Phoenix in New Mexico makes it possible to earn your degree on your own terms. You can choose from a wide variety of degree programs in fields such as business, education, criminal justice, health care or nursing. Depending upon the degree program you choose, you can attend class online or at the Kirtland AFB Learning Center.

As a bachelor's or master's degree student at the Kirtland AFB Learning Center, you'll attend classes once a week, generally in the evening. You'll also meet weekly with your learning team, a small group of classmates that develop collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills while working together to complete assignments.

If you choose to learn online, you'll log on and learn at times and places that fit your busy schedule. You'll participate with your class three to five days each week depending upon your degree program. Additionally, you'll complete your coursework through electronic forums that enable you to discuss course subjects, download course materials, drop off completed assignments and access materials and notes provided specifically for you by your instructor.

Either way, courses last five or six weeks and enrollment is open. That means you can begin your studies any time of year and continue studying year-round. Best of all, you can graduate sooner than you may think.
