Faculty Council

Members of the Faculty Council in the College of Social Sciences are subject matter experts in their respective disciplines. They assist the College by designing assignment-specific rubrics, recommending curricula updates that reflect changes within the industry, and by aiding in programmatic assessment and review. They are called upon to conduct research in areas such as new texts and class assets and may assist in the creation of simulations, podcasts or other multimedia assets. Individuals within the Faculty Council also work on strategic-planning initiatives and help support accreditation efforts, including document preparation and site visits.
