BACHELOR'S DEGREES


 

Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Media and Technology:

Media and technology have changed the ways we share, process and learn information in an employment setting. Understand the complex impact they have on human behavior in the workplace, as well as on consumer behavior, with our Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology with a concentration in Media and Technology.

The Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology provides a contemporary perspective on the applications of psychology to mediated communication, relationships and learning, and the roles technology plays in human interactions. This program does not lead to professional certification or licensure as a psychologist, counselor or other mental health practitioner.


 

Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology:

A healthy workplace culture is the backbone of a strong organization. You can help foster this. Our Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology provides you with a foundation in the psychological principles behind workforce development and behavior that can influence business effectiveness. You'll gain an understanding of the ethical, social, cognitive and motivational processes involved in supporting and improving performance at the individual, organizational and industrial levels.

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology provides a foundation in psychology and its relevance and applications to industry and organizational settings. This program does not lead to professional certification or licensure as a psychologist, counselor or other mental health practitioner.


Bachelor of Science in Correctional Program Support Services:

With this human services program, you can prepare for a career helping those who have been involved with the criminal justice system to adjust to life outside of the system. You’ll gain an understanding of behavioral and psychological issues that impact offenders – while studying mental health, social psychology and case-management. You’ll develop the skills needed to identify addiction issues, mental illness, housing problems and other resource needs – and learn how to provide intervention techniques. This program does not prepare students for any type of professional certification or licensure as a correctional officer, social worker, or counselor.

MASTER'S DEGREES


 

Master of Science in Psychology:

This Master of Science in Psychology degree program focuses on the scientific study of human activities. You’ll analyze the historical trends in psychology — and examine the concepts and theories that guide human behavior. Explore how psychological principles can be applied to everyday issues and how to apply theory directly to the human experience. Enhance your understanding of the impact that outside influences have on the interactions and motivations of individuals. You’re inspired by the complexities of human behavior — explore this psychology degree program and help people and groups of people function more effectively.

The Master of Science in Psychology is an educational degree program that provides a foundation of knowledge in the field of psychology. This program does not prepare students for any type of professional certification or licensure as a psychologist.


 

Master of Science in Counseling/Clinical Mental Health Counseling:

With this master’s degree program, you’ll develop a strong foundation in clinical mental health practices – with a curriculum that provides a solid foundation in the core areas of counselor training. You’ll learn how to effectively assess mental health disorders, develop treatment plans, and design evidence-based treatment. You’ll demonstrate the professional knowledge necessary to help clients overcome life challenges. This program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) at ground locations in Arizona and Utah, and prepares students to sit for the National Counselor Exam (NCE).
