University of Phoenix Sponsors the 5th Annual March of Dimes "Arizona Nurses of the Year Awards"

PHOENIX, August 23, 2008 — University of Phoenix was a proud sponsor of the 5th Annual March of Dimes “Arizona Nurses of the Year Awards.” The event was an evening showcasing outstanding nurses statewide. Nominated by patients, peers and supervisors, 238 nurses were honored and 11 were selected to win awards in a variety of categories.

At the awards gala, Charlotte Saylors, Vice President of Strategic Development of Healthcare for University of Phoenix, announced the creation of two March of Dimes full tuition scholarships for continuing nursing education. University of Phoenix was proud to be a part of this great event honoring the wonderful nurses that take care of our communities on a daily basis.
