New to the retail industry or looking for opportunities within it? Our Retail Fundamentals Certificate program can help you develop marketable skills valued by retail employers. You'll learn industry basics that prepare you for three certifications from the National Retail Federation® (NRF) Foundation: Customer Service and Sales, Advanced Customer Service, and Sales and Retail Management.
Developed with input from our Retail Advisory Council, whose members represent online and brick and mortar retailers, the Retail Fundamentals certificate covers customer service and management, merchandising, personnel management, leadership and supervision and retail strategies. Students may apply their capstone, or final course, to their own retail-related work environment.
