The ability to streamline processes and eliminate waste within an organization is a highly desired skillset. In this program, you’ll learn how to apply the structured approach of the Lean Six Sigma Methodology to solve these complex business problems.
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt Certificate Program (noncredit) is a 90-instructional hour program designed to provide skills and knowledge to transform students into team leaders and problem-solvers who regularly improve processes within their organizations. The program follows the disciplined DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) roadmap. Students learn to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint the root causes of those problems and institute new protocols to improve processes. They also obtain skills in leading teams through the process of change. This certificate program uses a practical and applied focus. The program concludes with a collection of exams that test the student on the concepts of LSS Green Belt. Students will complete 90 instructional hours, earn 9.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and earn a Letter of Completion.
The requires a minimum of credits, which may come from a combination of required and elective courses.
