Uncertain economic conditions are presenting increased challenges for those who are advocates and interventionists in Human Services.  Those professionals entering this exciting field today must be prepared with a broad range of skills and experiences developed both in the classroom and through well-formulated field experiences.

What students rarely realize is that, despite enthusiasm or even good ideas, they cannot effect change in an organization until they reach the status of “change maker” in an organization.  The level where it is possible to make change occur must be earned.  That’s what we are attempting to help our students achieve.
