University of Phoenix and Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Creating community and opportunity
University of Phoenix and Boys & Girls Clubs of America believe that education is the foundation to strengthening families and communities. So we’re partnering together to provide both kids and parents the resources they need to build better futures — through education.
We’re committed to creating an inspirational community through more than education, though. We’re also committed to creating hope.
Back to School Drive
Each year our employees, faculty, alumni and students collect tens of thousands of school supplies and donate online in support of our annual Boys & Girls Clubs of America Back to School Drive. This initiative is a favorite for volunteers, who get creative collecting supplies and delivering them to local clubs just in time for the new school year.
Most Inspirational Mom Scholarship
University of Phoenix, along with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, is awarding three exceptional moms with a full-tuition scholarship. Sue Trnka is one of those moms who, as a single parent, works full time while going to school. She believes education has allowed her to set a better example for her children. Youth of the Year/Great Futures Campaign

With a goal of developing the next generation of leaders, the program focuses on personal exploration, growth mindset, connected learning and developing 21st century skills. University of Phoenix is proud to be a National Sponsor of the Youth of the Year program which exemplifies the critical impact the Boys & Girls Clubs have on the lives of these young people.
