The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certificate Program (Noncredit) is an entry-level foundational certificate for IT professionals. ITIL is a set of practices for IT service management (ITSM) that focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business. This certificate covers the principle and core elements of IT service management based upon ITIL standards. This three-course certificate program is aligned with the ITIL Foundation certification exam and covers the latest version of core ITIL 2011 best practices from a lifecycle perspective. The certificate program is built around a case study to further enhance and strengthen an understanding of concepts. Students will complete 24 instructional hours, earn 2.4 continuing education units and earn a Letter of Completion.
