We’re proud to add the University of Phoenix Stadium to our long list of firsts.

When University of Phoenix Stadium opened on August 1, 2006, it became the first National Football League venue to be named after an educational institution.

Home to the Arizona Cardinals football team and the annual Fiesta Bowl, the 63,400 seat stadium boasts the first fully retractable natural grass playing field in North America, as well as a retractable roof. Combined with other design, engineering and technological features, this makes the stadium a true multipurpose facility able to host events ranging from Super Bowl XLII to shows, expositions, tradeshows and concerts.

It’s also home to our annual commencement ceremonies for our students across the country and the world.  Proud family members and friends fill the stands each July to witness graduates crossing the stage to accept their scrolls.

For event calendars, schedules, tickets and booking, visit the University of Phoenix Stadium website.
