Preparing for a civilian career after being in the military requires planning. To help make the transition a little easier, University of Phoenix and Hiring Our Heroes* are teaming up to host a complimentary Start Strong Event at 11 of our campus locations this spring. This event is for veterans, active-duty servicemembers and spouses who are or will be planning for careers in the civilian sector.
Attend a workshop presented by Phoenix Career Services that will provide guidance and resources you can use in your professional development.
Network at a career fair with employers and industry association representatives who can shed light on the hiring market and the qualities and skills they’re looking for in career seekers.
