What the Military Division can do for you

United States soldier

Whether you’re a veteran, active military member or a military spouse, our Military Division is by your side — from enrollment to graduation.

We created our Military Division to focus solely on serving students like you. Many of our staff have military backgrounds, so they understand the culture and speak the lingo you’re accustomed to.

They know it can be a challenge to fit college into a military lifestyle. That’s why, as a student at University of Phoenix, you’ll have your own Graduation Team to answer all your questions and provide the support and encouragement you need as you transition from a military role to an academic one:

  • Your Enrollment Advisor will guide you through the application process as you become a University of Phoenix student.
  • Your Academic Advisor will work with you to plan your degree program’s entire course schedule, helping you work around any known exercises and deployments or adjusting your course schedule if you receive orders.
  • Your Finance Advisor will help you understand all your financial options and help you secure your military education benefits.
