PHOENIX, June 24, 2008 — $125,219 Donated to China Earthquake Relief Fund

Not only is Phoenix home to the University of Phoenix, but it is a sister city of Chengdu, China, which was devastated by 7.9 magnitude earthquake on May 12. University of Phoenix (owned by the Apollo Group) committed to a donation of $75,000 to help the stricken city and pledged to match all employee donations - up to $25,000. Thanks to the efforts of employees and University of Phoenix, $125,219 was donated to the China Earthquake Relief Fund.
