For more than 30 years, University of Phoenix has been helping students balance education and life in a rapidly changing world. Through flexible schedules, challenging courses and interactive learning, students can achieve their personal and career aspirations, improve their organizations, and provide leadership and service to their communities.
As part of this mission, the University is contributing 26 full-tuition scholarships for one degree program to the Boomer Esiason Foundation to help individuals with cystic fibrosis pursue their dreams. University of Phoenix offers associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate programs. Each Monday during an NFL game, Boomer will announce a full-tuition scholarship for one of the University’s popular degree programs — from business and education to health care, criminal justice and other areas of study.
First ChanceSM Scholarship Program
First ChanceSM Scholarship Program
The First ChanceSM Scholarship Program was created in 2006 to promote the life-changing benefits of education and honor individuals who have shown desire to improve their lives and the lives of those around them through education. The annual program will empower 100 individuals to complete bachelor’s degrees through full-tuition scholarships to University of Phoenix.
Iowa Community College Faculty and Staff Scholarship
Iowa Community College Faculty and Staff Scholarship
Current full-time faculty and staff of Iowa Community Colleges are eligible to apply for the $2500 Iowa Community College Faculty and Staff Scholarship. A total of $5,000 in scholarships will be awarded per academic year, to each of the fifteen Iowa Community College districts. Students will attend the University of Phoenix Online.
Student(s) must meet University of Phoenix admission requirements.
- If a new student, the scholarship form must be accompany the University of Phoenix application.
- If an existing UOP/Axia College Student, the scholarship form must be completed.
Deadlines are listed below. Scholarship form must be signed by the Director of Human Resources at the respective community college. Non-U.S. citizens and students who will be part-time at UOP are not eligible.

Iowa Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
Current members and alumni of Iowa Phi Theta Kappa are eligible to apply for the Iowa Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship of $2500. A total of $5,000 in scholarships will be awarded per academic year, to each of the fifteen Iowa Community College districts. Students will attend the University of Phoenix Online.
Eligibility requirements: Iowa students only; Phi Theta Kappa graduates with an AA, AS, or AAS degree from an Iowa Community College; students must meet University of Phoenix requirements; a Phi Theta Kappa scholarship form (signed by the Phi Theta Kappa Advisor) must accompany the University of Phoenix application, by the deadlines indicated.
Non-U.S. citizens, students who will be part-time at UOP, students with a previously earned bachelor degree, and current UOP/AXIA College students are not eligible.

University of Phoenix is proud to announce the 2007 Paying It ForwardSM scholarship program. University of Phoenix Alumni who have graduated from the University of Phoenix with either a bachelor, master or doctorate degree are eligible to nominate a deserving individual to be awarded a full tuition scholarship to an associate or bachelor degree of their choice. The scholarship is valid at any University of Phoenix campus. Thirty (30) scholarships will be awarded.
