This course is a continuation of DOC/736IA, where students work with their Chair and committee members to finalize and submit the dissertation proposal for approval. The Chair and student work together to re-assess and improve readiness and skill preparation for the completion of the dissertation proposal in accordance with university guidelines and standards of ethical research. Enhanced support is provided to guide students towards completion of the dissertation proposal. Competencies: Develop a plan to ensure student, Chair, and committee work together effectively. Develop a plan for completing the dissertation proposal. Complete a dissertation proposal that meets the Domain I (Problem formulation, contribution to knowledge, review of relevant scholarship) and Domain III (design and logic) criteria in the Dissertation Criteria and Rating Scale and addresses self-assessment and faculty feedback. Submit a dissertation proposal for Quality Review - Methods (QRM) approval. Submit a dissertation proposal for Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval Update the plan for engaging in scholarly communities
