Questions other students are asking

We're constantly striving to provide more opportunities for students, so we may add new college start dates to our academic calendar throughout the year. However, the dates currently offered above are not subject to change.

We understand your eagerness to begin your educational journey. To start classes as soon as possible, be sure to complete all admission steps before the next 'Register by' date listed on our academic calendar.

The first step in your admission process is to fill out our online application. Once you've submitted your application, we'll provide you with a personalized list of tasks to complete. For more detailed information about what you’ll need to apply, read about our admissions requirements.

The application process period can vary based on individual circumstances. However, we require you to complete your application a week prior to your desired college start date.

At University of Phoenix, we believe in equal opportunities for all aspiring students. Therefore, we do not require the SAT, ACT GMAT, GRE, or any program-specific exams for admissions.

We understand that obtaining and submitting transcripts can sometimes be a hassle. That's why we're here to assist you. In most cases, we can request your official transcripts from prior institutions on your behalf, making the process more convenient and efficient for you. However, there are some instances in which institutions may require that you make the request directly. For questions or more information about obtaining transcripts, please reach out to an enrollment representative.

Our goal is to make the application process accessible and affordable for all prospective students. That's why we're pleased to inform you that your application to the University of Phoenix is 100% free.

You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before completing your online application, but it isn’t necessary. Once your application is submitted, we will guide you through the necessary steps to apply for financial aid via FAFSA. We are committed to helping you explore various options to make your education more affordable and attainable.

The FAFSA School Code for University of Phoenix is 014593.
