You’re scheduled in 4 courses concurrently over a span of 16 weeks. CB programs encourage individual learning and provide an opportunity to engage with fellow students. You’ll also receive support and guidance from faculty in your courses and a dedicated faculty mentor in your program.

##### How does CB work?

1. Start your group of courses with the support of a faculty mentor.
2. Take 3 to 4 courses at your own pace every 16-week period. Spend less time on material you know and more time on new subject matter.

Our online master’s programs can take anywhere from 12-37 months to complete depending on the degree or academic field you choose to pursue. ### How many credits are needed for a master’s degree?

The credit requirements vary across our online master’s degrees. Depending on the online program you choose, you’ll need anywhere from 33-60 credits. ### Can I transfer my credits from other schools?

Yes, you can [transfer eligible credits](/tuition-financial-aid/transfer-credits.html) from previous accredited college courses toward our online master’s degrees, except for our competency-based education programs.

### How much does a master’s degree cost?

With our Tuition Guarantee, you can count on fixed, affordable pricing for your entire degree program. Our online master’s programs are $698 per credit, except for the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs which are $540 per credit. Our competency-based MBA, MHA and MIS degrees are $300 per credit and can be completed in less than a year.

### Can I attend all online?

Some of our education, nursing, counseling and social work programs contain courses that require a ground field experience/clinical component experience.
