### How long does it take to get a bachelor's degree?

Bachelor's degree programs can be completed in four years. But you could save time and money on your degree by [transferring eligible credits](/tuition-financial-aid/transfer-credits.html) from an accredited institution or applying to have your relevant [work and life experiences](/tuition-financial-aid/prior-learning-assessment.html) evaluated for potential credit toward your degree.

### How many credits are needed for a bachelor's degree?

120 credits – but many of our students [transfer credits](/tuition-financial-aid/transfer-credits.html) from accredited institutions, helping them save time and money on their online bachelor's degree programs.

### Can I transfer my credits from other schools?

Yes, you can [transfer eligible credits](/tuition-financial-aid/transfer-credits.html) from previous accredited college courses toward our bachelor's degree programs, as well as apply to have your relevant [work and life experiences](/tuition-financial-aid/prior-learning-assessment.html) evaluated for potential credits as well.

### How much is tuition for an online bachelor’s degree?

Our online bachelor's degree programs are $398 per credit, except for the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program which is $350 per credit. If you transfer eligible credits from an associate degree, you could potentially receive a fixed price of $350 per credit. Military students and alumni also receive special pricing.

### Does University of Phoenix offer any scholarship opportunities?

We offer four scholarships, based on eligibility, for students pursuing their bachelor’s degree:  

The[Phoenix® Bachelor's Scholarship](/tuition-financial-aid/scholarships/phoenix-bachelors.html)is available for new and returning students with at least 3 years of work experience pursuing their bachelor's degree at University of Phoenix.  

[The Transfer Scholarship — Bachelor’s](/tuition-financial-aid/scholarships/transfer.html)

The Transfer scholarship is available to new students with at least 12-60 combined transfer credits from accredited institution(s) pursuing their bachelor’s degree at University of Phoenix.

[The Current Student Scholarship — Bachelor's](/tuition-financial-aid/scholarships/current-student-bachelors.html)

The Current Student Scholarship is available to current University of Phoenix students who have completed at least 24 credits with 18 credits or more remaining and have a GPA of 3.75 or higher.

[The Forever a Phoenix® Scholarship — Bachelor's](/tuition-financial-aid/scholarships/alumni-bachelors.html)

The Forever a Phoenix Scholarship is available to alumni students who are pursuing their bachelor's degree at University of Phoenix.

### Can I attend all online?

Yes. While many programs have on-ground components, the majority of courses are available online. You’ll be able to focus on just one 5-to-6-week course at a time in our[24/7 online classroom](/student-resources/going-to-class.html).
