Yes! Our four-credit online science courses offer a virtual laboratory, but our three-credit science courses do not. The course description will clearly describe if a virtual lab is required for each course of study. Labs let you practice science and test scientific theories hands-on.

You’ll see our four-credit laboratory courses listed as one course on your transcript. The course description will identify if there is a virtual lab.

Each laboratory course might be slightly different. Most lab courses use an interactive, fully immersive, virtual laboratory experience as part of your study and practice of the scientific method. The online lab experience requires you to engage in the same procedures and processes as an in-person lab.
