University of Phoenix commencement ceremonies are planned to celebrate you! We host virtual and in-person commencement ceremonies throughout the year. The in-person locations are carefully assessed and selected based on venue availability, appropriate space and suitability of destinations for you and your families who might wish to make a celebratory trip out of this milestone event.

Please note: Ceremonies are added once a location and date are finalized.
To find ceremonies that are open for registration, log into your student account, You’ll be automatically directed to the registration site, where you can check eligibility requirements and register for a ceremony.

**Registrations for In-Person Commencement Ceremonies are closely monitored to assess venue seating capacity requirements. If we reach capacity, we may be required to close registration earlier than planned to ensure these requirements are met. We will keep eligible graduates apprised of the situation.

Important Note:
Degree-completing students who meet the eligibility requirements may participate in a commencement ceremony. However, certificate-completing students are not eligible for commencement ceremonies with one exception: Students in a Post Master's Certificate/Family Nurse Practitioner program who meet eligibility requirements may participate in a ceremony.
