This course examines quality management processes, functions, and tools that improve health care systems and outcomes. Topics include nursing sensitive indicators, core measures, Quality & Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies, and legislative mandates. Key concepts are patient safety, quality improvement, and accountability to quality performance.
