As a new student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree who was referred to the University of Phoenix (UOPX) from a UOPX alumnus through the Alumni Legacy Program, and who attends their first class with a start date between March 1, 2022 and July 8, 2022, you are eligible to receive a special Alumni Legacy Program reduced tuition offer.

Who is eligible:

• Students enrolling and starting a new bachelor’s degree program, except Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) which are already receiving a reduced tuition rate.
• Students enrolling and starting a new master’s degree program, except Master of Arts in Education (MAED) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) which are already receiving a reduced tuition rate.

How this offer works:

Bachelor’s degree seeking students who were referred through a UOPX alumnus will receive a reduced tuition rate of $350 per credit hour for up to 20 courses. A reduction will be applied to tuition charges at a rate of $144 per course for a total savings up to $2,880.

Master’s degree seeking students who were referred through a UOPX alumnus will receive a reduced tuition rate of $630 per credit hour for the duration of their program. A reduction will be applied to tuition charges at a rate of $204 per course for a total savings up to $2,244.

If you don’t meet the above eligibility criteria, then we would still love to see you consider University of Phoenix to earn a degree, but you are not eligible for this offer.

Please note the following regarding the Alumni Legacy Offer:

1. This is a non-cash award and under no circumstance will the offer benefits exceed the invoice amount.
   
2. Student must enroll in a bachelor’s or master’s degree
3. Student must enroll and post attendance in their first class between March 1, 2022, and July 18, 2022
4. Student must be referred by an alumnus through the Alumni Legacy Program
5. Student has no UOPX academic related activity (ARA) within 365 days prior to the first applicable course taken after March 1, 2022
6. Student must remain in their degree level (all coursework attended must be degree-level applicable courses)
7. Student may have no unapproved breaks >35 days to continue receiving the reduced tuition rate
8. Student remains responsible for repayment of all Federal Student Aid borrowed for your program or any other program you have enrolled in and/or attended and are subject to the repayment terms and conditions set forth in your borrowing agreement.
9. The Alumni Legacy Offer is not applicable and will not be issued to:
   • UOPX Employees, Faculty, Spouses, or Dependents
   • UOPX Current Student and Alumni
   • Students pursuing BSN, MSN, or MAED degrees
   • Students enrolling in single courses or stand-alone certificates that do not roll up to an eligible degree program
   • Students applying to Competency Based Education Programs
   • Students receiving any employer benefits or discounts (including but not limited to TAPCAP tuition benefits)
   • Students receiving Military Tuition rate
   • Students receiving UOPX Scholarships
   • Students who qualify for Near Grad Student benefits
   • Students on any other discounts, offers or promotions not included above
   • Students who do not meet the eligibility requirements.
   • Cover costs for credits earned outside of UOPX.
   • Students who start their first class before March 1, 2022 or after July 18, 2022
10. The Alumni Legacy Offer will automatically terminate if:
    •  The student fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements set forth above
    • The student becomes Academically Disqualified, Disqualified for Admission, Scholastically Disqualified, Scholastically Suspended or Expelled as outlined in the University Catalog
11. Students who receive a reduced tuition rate described above will not be eligible for any other tuition and/or fee reduction, waiver, benefit, or offer. If a student wishes to use any other tuition and/or fee reduction, waiver, benefit, or offer, it will only be applied to the University’s standard tuition rate.
