In this course, students use practice scholarship to examine and address health issues at the population and practice levels. Students align research questions from various methodological approaches with appropriate research design and measures, while evaluating literature focused on providing safe, high-quality care outcomes. Critical analysis of case studies, evaluation of various measures of continuous quality improvement (CQI), and the effective use of program evaluation are addressed. Students also evaluate literature related to their DNP Applied Project topic and refine the methodology appropriate for their research question.
