Course level: Continuing Teacher Education
This course focuses on the research, theories, and concepts related to early childhood growth and development. Participants examine the physical, motor, cognitive, language, literacy, social and emotional development of diverse children from birth through age eight. Family and cultural influences on early childhood growth and development are also explored. This course is not available for enrollment to residents of Alabama, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
